These terms are the agreement between you and DUŠAN ANTOVIĆ PR RAČUNARSKO PROGRAMIRANJE TREEONIX BEOGRAD (ZEMUN), Ugrinovačka 98, 11080 Beograd (Zemun), Serbia, registration number (MB) 68152879, tax ID (PIB) 115168900 ("Vetonect") when you use vetonect.com. By creating an account you accept them, together with our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
Vetonect is software. It lets pet owners find clinics, book visits and see their pets' records, and lets clinics run their practice: clients, patients, visits, vaccinations, prescriptions, invoices and messages.
Vetonect does not give veterinary advice and is not a veterinary practice. Diagnoses, treatments, prescriptions and everything else a clinic records are the clinic's professional responsibility. In an emergency, contact a clinic directly.
2. Accounts
- You must be 18 or older and give accurate details.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You can close your account at any time from your profile. What happens to your data then is set out in the Privacy Policy.
3. Clinics
A clinic that registers on Vetonect confirms that it is authorised to practise, that its staff hold the licences their roles need, and that it has a lawful basis for the client and patient data it enters.
- The clinic decides who on its team can do what, and is responsible for its staff's actions in Vetonect.
- Printed documents (invoices, prescriptions, vaccination records) are produced from what the clinic enters. The clinic checks them before issuing them.
- Vetonect handles the clinic's client and patient data under the Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms for clinics.
- Fees: A clinic pays a monthly subscription to use Vetonect. The price and any current offers are on the pricing page. We will give at least 30 days' notice before raising the price of an existing subscription.
- Payment: subscriptions are sold by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle processes the payment, issues invoices and receipts, and handles billing questions, under its own buyer terms.
- Subscription: it renews each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid for. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You may not:
- enter data you have no right to use, or impersonate someone else;
- post reviews or messages that are false, abusive or unlawful;
- try to reach data that is not yours, test the service's security without our written permission, or overload it;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service.
We may remove content, or suspend an account, that breaks these rules. Where it is safe to do so, we will tell you why first.
5. Availability, development and discontinuation
We work to keep Vetonect available and back up data every night, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Planned maintenance may cause short outages.
We are actively developing Vetonect and intend to keep improving it. We may add, change or remove features as the product develops; plans for future features are not a commitment unless we agree on them in writing. We will give notice before removing something a clinic depends on.
We may also decide to discontinue Vetonect entirely. If we do, we will give at least 90 days' notice by email, during which the service keeps working and clinics can download their data. Fees paid in advance for the period after the shutdown are refunded. Apart from that, discontinuing the service with this notice gives no right to compensation. After the notice period, data is deleted as the Data Processing Agreement describes.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of what you enter. You give us the right to store, display and process it only as needed to run the service for you. Clinics can ask for a copy of their data at any time, and before they leave.
7. Responsibility and liability
Vetonect is a software tool. It helps clinics and pet owners keep records, book visits and communicate digitally. It takes no part in the decisions they make with it.
Each clinic and each user is solely responsible for:
- every diagnosis, treatment, prescription, vaccination and other veterinary decision, and its consequences for the animal, its owner or anyone else;
- the accuracy and completeness of everything they enter, and of every document they print or send from Vetonect, including invoices, prescriptions and vaccination records;
- how they deal with their clients, patients, staff and anyone else, including appointments, payments and messages;
- following the rules of their profession and the laws that apply to them.
Vetonect is not liable for any act, omission, mistake or decision of a clinic, its staff, a pet owner or any other user, towards a client, a patient or anyone else.
A clinic will indemnify Vetonect against claims by its clients or third parties that arise from the clinic's veterinary services or its use of Vetonect, including reasonable legal costs.
To the extent the law allows, Vetonect is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to a clinic in any 12 months is limited to the fees paid for the clinic's Vetonect subscription in that period, and in any case not less than EUR 500. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for intent or gross negligence.
Vetonect is not liable for failures or delays caused by events outside its reasonable control, such as outages of hosting, network or email providers, power or internet failures, cyberattacks, or measures taken by authorities. We will tell affected clinics as soon as we can and restore the service as quickly as possible.
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Vetonect at any time. We may end an account with 30 days' notice, or immediately for a serious breach of these terms. When a clinic's account ends, its data is handled as the Data Processing Agreement describes.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia, and the courts in Belgrade have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep any protection the law of your country gives you.
